Join Coulomb Technologies and contribute your programming skills to expand
the ChargePointR Network, the largest network of independently owned
electric vehicle charging stations in the world. In this customer-facing
role, you will work with Strategic Partners to grow the number of web
applications, mobile applications and charging stations built for the
ChargePoint ecosystem. You will team with Product Management and
Engineering to enhance the ChargePoint developer program by providing your
technical guidance and content for developer tools and solutions.
Responsibilities:
. Partner with Product Management and Engineering to architect and
define new customer facing APIs.
. Partner with Product Management and Engineering to enhance and scale
the ChargePoint API developer program and supporting tools.
. Create white papers, application notes, and solutions guides with
real-world code examples that simplify API adoption and inspire API use by
customers.
. Provide technical assistance to API developers.
. Present and demonstrate the ChargePoint solution to partners,
customers and prospects.
. Build proof-of-concept demonstrations.
. Integrate and test partner solutions.
. Assist Product Management, Marketing and Sales teams with technical
presentations and demonstrations.
. Build winning, long-term customer and partner relationships.
Experience:
. 3+ years of experience in a customer facing pre- or post-sales
technical support role.
. 3+ years in industry as a software developer with a functional
knowledge of web services and a variety of programming languages such as
Java, C#, PHP, etc.
. Solid understanding and working knowledge of networking systems,
security and solutions.
. Functional knowledge of traditional databases, such as MySQL,
Postgres, Oracle, etc.
. Functional knowledge of enterprise virtualization technologies such
as VMWare.
. Functional knowledge of iOS and Android application development a
plus.
. 3+ years of embedded software development with Linux OS a plus.
Requirements:
. A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering or related major.
. A Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering a plus.
. Strong background in networking and security.
. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
. Strong project management skills.
